Summary Terms & Conditions:
18+ only. 29/07/23 – 08/10/23. Visit https://msccruises.com/F1-Abu-Dhabi.html & answer the questions correctly to enter the Promotion. No purchase necessary. Prizes: 1 winner drawn at random from all correct entries to win 1 x 4-night stay on the MSC Virtuosa docked in Abu Dhabi between 23rd & 27 November 2023 for 2 people plus 2 x grandstand tickets to the Abu Dhabi F1® Grand Prix. Travel costs are at the expense of the winner & guest, flights are not included & the winner or guest will be required to pay a €1000 credit card deposit upon arrival. Internet access required. Full Terms & Conditions
1. This Promotion is open to those aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, its contractors, agents and subsidiaries, anyone professionally associated with this Promotion and residents of the following F1® sanctioned markets:
  • Iran
  • Cuba
  • North Korea
  • Sudan
  • Syria
  • Crimea
  • Russia
  • Belarus
2. Entrants must ensure that their participation (including acceptance of any prize) is lawful in accordance with the laws of their country of residence and the laws of Switzerland.  This promotion is void where void under local national or local laws. The Promoter will not be taken to make any representations, express or implied, as to the lawfulness of any individual's participation, or as to any other aspect of any Promotion.
3. No purchase necessary; however, internet access and a valid email address are required.
4. Promotion Period: Enter between 00:01 CEST on the 29th July 2023 and 23:59 CEST on the 8th October 2023 inclusive.

b. Visit https://msccruises.com/F1-Abu-Dhabi.html and complete the online form to provide your details (full name, email address, contact telephone number and Instagram handle used to enter as per clause 5a.)
6. For the avoidance of doubt, both entry requirements in clause 5. Must be completed in order to be considered a valid entry (“valid entry” or “valid entries”) into the Promotion. If one or neither requirement is completed, an entry will not be considered valid and will not be entered into the Promotion.
7. Entrants must set their Instagram profile on a public setting in order to enter the promotion and must keep it set to public and continue to follow the @msccruisesofficial account for 6 weeks after the end of the Promotion Period in order to be verified as the winner.
8. Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person during the Promotion Period.
9. The Prize: There will be one (1) winner who will win a Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 (“Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix”) experience consisting of:
  1. Two (2) grandstand South Club tickets to the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday 26th November 2023.
  2. Four (4) nights’ accommodation for two (2) people onboard the MSC Virtuosa Cruise Ship (“Cruise Ship”) which will be docked in the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, Zayed Port, Mina Zayed for the duration, in one (1) Fantastica Cabin with a balcony, arriving on 23rd November 2023 and checking out on 27th November 2023.
  3. Transfers to and from the Cruise Ship to the race circuit on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  4. Accommodation is on a half board basis which includes breakfast and dinner for each night.
10. Further Entry Prize Details and Conditions:
  • The Prize consists of the above elements only and no travel to Abu Dhabi is provided. It is the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest to source and purchase flights to Abu Dhabi in order to be able to accept the Prize.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include travel/transportation, accommodation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
  • An alcoholic drinks package is not included as part of the Prize and would be subject to additional costs at the responsibility of the winner and their guest. Alcohol will only be served to those aged 21 or over.
  • The winner and their guest are solely responsible for any additional charges incurred on the Cruise Ship during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of additional meals, drinks, and services together with any related taxes.
  • A valid credit card in the name of either the winner or their guest with a minimum of €1000 credit will be required to check in to the cabin will be used to guarantee any incidentals such as in- room calls or services. The €1000 deposit will be taken at the point of check in and will be refunded on check out minus any expenditures incurred throughout the duration of the stay.
  • The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. The winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated relating to claiming the prize.
  • The winner and their guest will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or travel insurance are the responsibility of the winner and their guest. In the event the winner or their guest are unable to travel due to visa or other personal circumstances, no alternative tickets will be issued, and no compensation or other Prize will be provided.
  • Formula 1 tickets are only valid for the dates and times shown; no alternatives will be available. If the Prize is rejected or cancelled by the winner, no alternative tickets will be issued and for the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.
  • The guest of the winner must also be aged 18 or over.
  • If for any reason the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix or any element of the competition is not capable of running as planned, such as cancellation, delay, postponement or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which affects the running or conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel the prize and not re-award any additional tickets to the winner or reimburse any incurred expenses by the winner as a result of winning or accepting the Prize.
  • Once tickets have been issued, the Promoter, will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, illness of a driver or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter.
  • It will be the winner’s and their guest's responsibility to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss, and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken.
  • The Prize will be forfeited if: - the winner has not obtained all of the proper travel documents by the date specified by the Promoter - the winner has any immigration complications which prevent them from entering, leaving, or travelling within Abu Dhabi; or - the winner has any medical, legal or any other reason that would prevent them from accepting and participating in the Prize.
  • It is the responsibility of the winner and any guest to check any travel advisories issued by a government, to determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the destination. The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any winner or their guest arising out of their failure to follow any travel advisories issued by a government. The winner and their guest must comply with and are responsible for obtaining all information regarding any recommended inoculation and obtaining the inoculation(s) and health regulations required by any Prize destination country.
  • The winner is responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest whilst taking the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or their guest from participation in any aspect of the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or if the winner and/or their guest act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the event/venue.

  • Whilst at the event/venue or on the Cruise Ship, the winner and their guest must not: be drunk, intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, underage, be abusive, threatening, make or incite racial abuse, chant, use offensive language, make obscene gestures, throw items, behave anti-socially, carry laser pens, bring animals (except guide dogs), carry offensive weapons or illegal substances, carry candles, climb any structure, make excessive noise, offer any item for sale, damage the venue or smoke. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the winner or their guest being required to leave the event/venue or Cruise Ship.
  • The winner must inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or any similar access needs for them or their guest prior to arrival in Abu Dhabi.
11. Winner Selection: All valid entries made during the Promotion Period will be entered into a prize draw to select one (1) provisional winner at random within 5 working days from the close of the Promotion Period.
12. Winner Notification: The provisional winner will be contacted via the email address or telephone number provided on entry within 5 working days of Winner Selection and will be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winner. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the provisional winner will be confirmed as a winner. If the provisional winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.
13. Prize Acceptance: Notification to arrange fulfilment of the Prize will take place within 5 days of acceptance of the Prize. In the unlikely event that a winner has not received communication to arrange their Prize, the winner must inform the Promoter by emailing [email protected]. If the winner does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the Prize at its sole discretion.
14. Provided no objection is received from the winner, a winner list containing the surname and country of residence of the winner will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available at https://info.msccruises.com/F1-Abu-Dhabi.html. Winners can object to their details being published during the Winner Notification process. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to any relevant authority when requested by them.
15. The winners will be responsible for any applicable taxes related to the acceptance of any Prize.
16. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:
  • Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.
  • Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
  • Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
  • Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
  • Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, multiple SIM cards for text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
  • Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.
  • Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.
  • Cancel, modify, or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion.
18. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason the Prize and/or any element of the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize or element of the Prize for another of equal or greater value.
19. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected, or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to https://msccruises.com/F1-Abu-Dhabi.html.
20. By submitting information and creating an Instagram account, entrants agree to the Instagram terms of use and privacy notice. If an entrant does not agree to such terms of use and privacy notice, they cannot create an Instagram account, or participate in this Promotion.
21. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram, and Instagram is not responsible for any element of this Promotion.
22. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special, or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (JS13760) or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.  Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
23. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.
24. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used for the purpose of this Promotion and for research and analytical purposes by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion and will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. 25. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
26. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
27. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
28. These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
